THIS ICE CREAM COMES WITH A GOLDEN PRICE TAG

We’ve come a long way from the tutti-fruttis and vanillas of the world. Times are changing, tastes are changing, and trends are also changing. To thrive you must experiment, and the F&B industry is right on the heels.

In the same vein, a Hyderabadi cafe is now bling-ing up its menu with a golden new addition. They are now serving an extremely valuable ice cream that’s gold-plated! Exactly what everybody was asking for, right?

We must reiterate: this is actually happening; this is not a drill. Let’s take a moment to let that sink in. Gold. On ice cream.

As we all know, the first thing that comes to mind while eating ice cream is, “Boy..I wish this had some gold on it.”

We’ve all spent our money on delicious sundaes that come with a cherry on top, but this one-of-a-kind ice cream (hopefully the last of its kind too) comes with a shiny gold coating.

A spokesperson for the cafe said, “This is no ordinary ice cream. (duh?)
It is an experience, a blend of luxury and innovation.

Now that it is! However, are people really going to enjoy something like this? People may not actually try the ice creams, but netizens have really enjoyed this story as it has become viral on the internet.

Maybe the owner of this establishment thought this was a golden opportunity. We guess that’s just the F&B game these days. And the best (read: worst) part? It costs a whopping Rs. 1200!

Not sure if this is a different universe but…why does this dessert cost more than a nice dinner for two? It might be because of social media. In today’s like-baiting social world, these new and odd trending food combinations grab a lot of attention.

This one is yet another head-scratching addition to the already puzzling list of borderline illegal food combinations, right up there with pineapple on pizza, chocolate dosa, and that one influencer who dared to make chhole bhature ice cream (yes, unfortunately, that’s real too).

The possibilities of food combos are endless, and also kind of scary. What’s next? Copper-plated Kesar Pista? Ice cream in aluminium foil? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Despite all the criticism one thing is absolutely certain: these weird yet fascinating food item combos are here to stay. The F&B industry continues to become more and more competitive. One must try to stand out, even if that requires investing in gold.

Can we even call it Ice cream? More like I scream when I see the price tag. ₹1200 is a lot of money for something that melts so quickly.

Times are tough, and the share market is crashing, so we have to ask an important question: should we eat the ice cream or keep it safe in a locker at home? Sure, it might melt, but it’s still gold. And every little bit counts, especially in this economy.

We’re a bit skeptical about this ice cream to be honest, but if you never try, you’ll never know… right? What are you waiting for? Go ahead, dig in and let us know if you like it! We’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines.
